My son changed the engine in his 2001 Honda Civic . It use to jet taking off but now it seems to barley build up speed. It just recently stopped shifting to reverse.
No grinding, no smells. Is drivable but just speed retardation in taking off.

I would first start off by taking a look at the level of the fluid, and making sure all external controls are in tact. After you’ve completed this please follow up with me.

I have a 2004 Buick Century… It’s very intermittent, but occasionally my car starts jerking when shifting. Seems to be worse when shifting into 2nd and 3rd. Usually stops after my car is turned off and restarted…

    Any ideas?
